Issue 5 Submissions: CLOSED

And short story submissions for Issue 5: MECHA are closed! We look forward to reading through your work and are excited to see what came in. Expect a decision within a couple weeks.

COVER ART SUBMISSIONS ARE STILL OPEN! Cover art submissions must be in by June 9th CST. Artists will be compensated ($50 and a contributor copy). The artist retains rights to the art work and may use it how they please. We only buy the license to use it for our cover. In that vein, it can be a previously made work so long as it doesn’t have any other copyrights or licenses. We are not looking for fanart for our cover, however.

Thank you so much for your time and support!

An Exciting Time

Hello all!

Please pardon the changes that are going on with our website, we’re just getting things set up. But we’re very excited to be getting things started here at Unfading Daydream!

I can only speak for myself, but science fiction/fantasy/other genres are what really inspired me to start writing. Those and, honestly, anime/video games/webcomics. There are beautifully written stories and narratives out there that don’t get as much attention because they’re genre fiction.

We wanted to give those stories a place to shine.

Hopefully we’ll be able to get everything moving sooner rather than later. We will let you know when our first submission period starts!

Happy writing!
~LL
